I first approached Ian about working with my son. In the assessment stage I talked about the issues my daughter is also having and Ian kindly offered to work with her too. He is truly motivated by helping young people. My daughter has worked with many professionals but I have never heard her laugh while receiving therapy (music to my ears!) Ian works in such a way that they actually enjoy the sessions; not something you can usually say about therapy. As aresult, he manages to get the best out of them. He offers practical advice for the here and now which my daughter always takes on board. Also it’s worth saying that despite his busy schedule, he always tries to be as accommodating as he can.
