Ian came to our sixth form provision to work with a very diverse group of young adults. The students varied in both their needs and their academic abilities – from pre-entry level to level 1. Ian delivered his programme over a series of weeks – the students looked forward to his engaging sessions which they thoroughly enjoyed, so much so I am sure they didn’t even know they were learning!

Ian’s programme was littered with real life examples and experiences, this made the learning relevant for the students and also gave the students the opportunity to share their experiences. Ian summed up his course brilliantly when he first explained it to the students – he told them that he was going to teach them a superpower which they could take with them on their next steps, and it would give them ‘that little bit extra’. I firmly believe that he did give this slightly unfair advantage to our students, in the highly competitive world of supported internships and apprenticeships and I cannot thank him enough for that; I will be using his amazing services again.
