Christmas is a fun time of connection, love and gratitude. It can also be a stressful, sugar-filled, spoilt time!
Sometimes Christmas means lots of visits to and from friends and family and this is typically the perfect time for children to show off and ‘act up’.
I’ve seen this before with children who visit the office and there’s a strange unspoken dance that goes on where the parent of the child who is misbehaving doesn’t want to make a scene and tries to appease their child toward better behaviour or, in some cases, will look to me to take control of the situation.
This video explores the benefits of quickly and firmly addressing the behaviour and the impression it casts upon your child when you do not.
