So, who are my clients and where do they come from?

My client list is wide and varied. From 5-year-old children to 92-year-old adults. Children of 5 to 7 years often work with their parents present in the sessions so mum/dad can reinforce the learning and explain anything in more detail as required…they get to learn too!

Other children can be reluctant to appear on camera (all my sessions are via Zoom and have been since the first Covid lockdown). For these children it is often still worthwhile doing sessions with the parent and the child still present in the room. They most often get pulled into the session by their curiosity although it can take time. I recall one lad who I has done sessions with off screen a couple of times and then he appeared wearing his hoodie back to front so I could not see his face, by session 5 he was completely engaged, and we carried out some good work.

Most children are already tech savvy and relax into the sessions. They often prefer to work without their parents present.

I work with adults…often parents or teachers and others.
